What Does It Mean When You Dream About Someone?
Dreams – a collection of memories and thoughts coming together like a big-budget movie. Our dreams come from within our minds; they come from all of the data we see and collect throughout our lives. There’s a part of our brain called the “subconscious,” and it’s the place where we store all of our fears, vibes, energy, and thoughts.
We see all sorts of things in our dreams, both good and bad. Some dreams are beautiful and mesmerizing, leaving a happy impact on you when you wake up. While other dreams are scary, those are called nightmares.
Where do dreams come from?
Everything we see in our dreams comes from within our minds. If you dream about it, chances are you’ve probably seen it at some point in your life. It could’ve been in a movie, on TV, passing by someone at the mall, you probably don’t even remember when you saw the person in real life. But it’s there. It’s all there in your mind, stored forever.
What does it mean when you dream about someone?
When you dream about someone, it means they hold a specific value in your life. It means they exist in your life, in one way or another. It means you think (or have thought) about them. It means that they exist in your mind. A lot of this also depends on the type of dream you saw. If you saw someone in a happy dream, where you see a lot of green and a lot of good energy, then it means you are in a good place with that person in real life. If you see them in an awkward position with you, it reflects how you are in real life.
If you have feelings for someone and you dream about them, it means your feelings hold a lot of value. It means your feelings are not fleeting, and they have a pretty massive impact on your mind. And, it doesn’t necessarily mean you love them or have intense emotional feelings for them; they could just be a fleeting thought.
The importance of dreams comes from within you; some of them leave a lasting impression while others are forgotten as soon as you open your eyes. When you dream about someone, it means they’re probably going to end up taking a major chunk of your thoughts.
If you dream about someone, do they dream about you?
If you dream about someone, it’s not necessary for them to dream about you too. Like I said, our dreams are our own. They don’t come from anyone else. No one else is transmitting our dreams to our minds; they are dynamically generated every day from within our brain. Hence, there’s no direct correlation; it’s only coincidental if you dream about someone while they also dream about you.
Some psychologists believe that our subconscious minds are connected on some level. That could also be the case, but it is yet to be proven by science. But for now, it’s merely a coincidence. So to recap, you should never be scared of your dreams. Be open to what your mind is trying to show you. Interpret them and get to the root of the cause.
